Spam Protection Guide for Citidexli.com clients

This simple tutorial will guide you and help you to:
  • set up spam protection on your email account using Plesk interface
  • add and remove new rules to spam protection
  • use Webmail interface to read and write emails on line
  • use Webmail to filter messages marked as SPAM to some other folder
When you request an email account for your domain, you will be given an email name i.e. joe@domain.com and a password i.e. secretword .

    The mail can be retrieve from your email account by using:
  1. Webmail - an internet based mail application which allows you to login to your account, read, write and send emails. It allows also setting up folders and filters to help you manage your mail in more efficient way.
  2. Email application of your choice i.e.: Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, etc. You will have to purchase and install this application on your computer.


In addition each user is able to login to his/hers email account using Plesk interface where additional settings can be applied to your email account such us: spam protection, redirects, autoresponders, mail groups, new password.

    Note:
  • Webmail is an online application that allows you to view your email massages on line, read them and write new ones.
  • Plesk interface takes you to your mailbox settings where you can enable spam protection, train the spam filters, change the password for your email account or redirect your mail to some other account.
